FAQs
Yes, SCiNiTO supports multi-language searches. Users can search in several major languages, including English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Persian and others. The platform returns results in those languages when available.
The OpenAlex database covers a wide range of scholarly works, including journal articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, datasets, dissertations, preprints, grants, and supplementary materials. SCiNiTO uses all this rich data to give users a comprehensive research experience.
Free individual accounts include limited daily AI actions (e.g., AI Chat, Explore This with AI). Standard search features remain unlimited.
SCiNiTO and Web of Science (WoS) show different citation counts because they index different sources. SCiNiTO aggregates data from CrossRef, publishers, institutional repositories, preprint servers, and other open metadata sources, capturing a broader range of citations. WoS, on the other hand, only includes citations from journals indexed in the Web of Science database, which is more selective. As a result, citation counts can vary between the two platforms.
SCiNiTO’s Recommendation feature uses AI to analyze your paper’s title and abstract and suggests the most suitable journals for submission. It provides key metrics such as SJR, quartile, H-index, open-access status, and scope fit. This helps researchers choose the right journal faster and improve their chances of successful publication.
The Reviewer feature in SCiNiTO is an AI-powered tool that evaluates your manuscript section by section (abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and references). It provides structured, actionable feedback on clarity, methodology, bias risks, and missing elements. This helps researchers improve manuscript quality and increase the chances of journal acceptance before submission.
The latest update adds two extra outputs: Curated list of similar works AND Journal recommendation cards (with SJR, quartile, H-index, and webpage),
The PDF Analysis feature in SCiNiTO allows users to upload a research paper and instantly receive structured, AI-generated insights. It can summarize key findings, explain figures and tables, analyze methodology, identify limitations or bias, and extract important details with citations. This helps researchers understand papers faster without reading the entire document.
Research Space in SCiNiTO is a collaborative workspace where users can organize, upload, and save research sources together. It allows multiple members to share articles, notes, and AI-generated insights in one dedicated environment. This feature supports teamwork, structured research management, and seamless collaboration throughout the research process.
